Thursday, May 15, 2008

This Weeks Menu (so far)

Sunday
Potato Pancakes with Applesauce
Brownies

Monday
Lentil Soup and Rye Bread

Tuesday
Black Beans, Rice, and Butternut Squash (very yummy)

Wednesday (Potluck)
Was to bring black beans but was running late

Thursday (Ar cooking)
Linguine with cream sauce and coleslaw with homemade dressing

Friday
(This is usually pizza night but I had Borscht slotted as this is our 'thin' week as far as the budget goes. However we are going to another potluck dinner so I am bringing apple/rhubarb crisp with icecream and cones for the kids.)

Saturday
Lentil and Barley Soup (lentil soup is usually slotted for Saturday as it is so easy).

Note: I think I will list our lunches as well as these can sometimes be a hard one to come up with (although not as of late). Often a list of options for me to work from for lunch works great, although leftovers with some homemade bread tend to go over the best.
